PAPER -or- POTTERY -not- PLASTIC
Group Show of 100 Plates – paper and ceramic
November 21 - January 9
Reception: Saturday, November 21, 4 to 6:00 p.m.

PAPER -or- POTTERY -not- PLASTIC is a "show within a show " featuring 100 plates, both paper and ceramic. The invitation to participate was open to both gallery artists in SMALL WORKS: Art + Object and artists throughout the country. Artists that chose to work with paper were asked to produce an artwork on a Chinet paper dinner plate. Area potters and ceramicists will be providing functional dinner and serving plates. The submitted plates range in technique. Some artists worked in styles they are known for; others have been more experimental with the format.

The sale of the plates will begin at 4:00 p.m. the night of the opening, and online at 6:00 p.m. Each paper plate will sell for $100.
