Authors and artists will be at Ferrin Gallery to sign and discuss recent books, featured artwork and current writing.

DISH + DINE
Saturday, November 19, 6 – 9:00 p.m.
3rd annual Thai Dinner by Chef and Artist Joe Wheaton to benefit St. Stephen's Table.
$50 per person, limited to 40

Ferrin Gallery, Pittsfield, MA, USA – Saturday, November 19 - Ferrin Gallery presents the two programs in conjunction with the current exhibition THE BIRDING LIFE. The exhibition, a group show of art in all media, was inspired by the book The Birding Life: A Passion for Birds at Home and Afield; Clarkson Potter Publishers; the show presents recent works by various artists featured in the book in addition to other invited artists who use bird imagery in their work. The first program, AUTHORS + ARTISTS takes place 3 – 5:00 pm, with artists and authors affiliated with the exhibition and the gallery to join in an afternoon of casual conversation with the public and one another about the books they wrote or illustrated. The books will be available for sale and signing.

The second event, the 3rd annual DISH+DINE Thai dinner cooked by chef and artist Joe Wheaton is a benefit for St. Stephen's Table, takes place 6 -9:00 pm. 100 % of the proceeds from the dinner and a percentage of sales directly benefits the program that feeds people in need with weekly dinners and lunches at St. Stephens Episcopal Church in Pittsfield. Support and donations for the dinner include Nejaimes Wine Cellar and other TBA. The evening concludes with a video and sound projection by Joe Wheaton featuring images gathered while traveling in South East Asia.
