12:00 COVET Booth #114 COVET: Meet the Artists | Join Chipstone Foundation curator, Ethan Lasser and artist Michelle Erickson for a one-on-one discussion of the ongoing relationship between Chiptsone, Milwaukee Art Museum and contemporary artists, followed at 12:30 for a tour of the exhibition with the featured artists including Christa Assad, Lucy Feller, Nicholas Kahn, Frances Palmer and Mara Superior. 2:00 COVET Booth #114 HISTORY AND INSPIRATION: A Conversation | Writer Dominque Browning and ceramist Frances Palmer will discuss the COVET project and her artwork that references the Robert Ellison collection of ceramics in the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Dominique Browning is the author of the book Slow Love, blogs at Slow Love Life, and environmental activist and director of Moms Clean Air Force. 7:00 COVET Booth #114 DISHING: How did the dinner plate become decorative art? | Shax Riegler, author of DISH and features editor at House Beautiful with Artist/Designer explores the question of how the plate moved off the table and onto the wall with artist Molly Hatch.
